Why do liberals hate the wealthy but now embrace the Super PACs?

Liberals are always complaining about the wealthy and how they have too much money and how that money should be funneling down to the poor and yet Obama has, in effect, turned his re-election campaign over to the “1 percenters” throught the Super PACs. Why do the liberals hate the wealthy yet embrace the Super PACs?

  2. stop the spending says:

libs are, and always will be, hypocrites, loons, idiots and American haters

  3. WRONG. They don’t hate the wealthy and do hate the Super PACs (which are the only way a Republican can win an election BTW).

Most Democrats are better educated and have more income than most Republicans (I’m not talking averages since 2% of Republican are filthy rich and rest are redneck followers). We just want the wealthy to pay their fair share, that’s all. Should my republican neighbor who makes half what I do, pay the same amount in taxes as me? No… its not good for any of us if he loses his house. But astonishingly, he fight tooth an nail to stop me from paying my fair share, because he is an idiot Republican who will end up on welfare, and THEN I’ll have to pay his way anyhow…

EDIT: Oh yeah. Republicans are really successful. Ten poorest states:
    1. Mississippi
    2. Arkansas
    3. Tennessee
    4. West Virginia
    5. Louisiana
    6. Montana
    7. South Carolina
    8. Kentucky
    9. Alabama
    10. North Carolina

  4. Because liberal = hypocrite.

  5. Do as I say, not as I do.

  6. Frank Zebottom says:

They aren’t complaining about the wealthy and how they have too much money. That is far too simplistic. Taxation and spending are complicated issues. You should try thinking for yourself. Sure, it’s more of a challenge, but at the end of the day – it’s worth it.

  7. Well, if 10 sock puppets say so…guess I have no choice but to believe.

  8. No we do not hate the wealthy. We think they should pay their fair share of taxes. Thanks to the Conservatives on the Supreme Court, Super Pacs are a Political reality for 2012.

What I find interesting is this money is hurting the Corporate friendliest candidate, Mitt, most of all.

  9. One of them that are in the Super Pac is Nambla. HYPOCRiTical transparency.

  10. Wounded Duck says:

You neglect to mention that every GOP candidate has made the same choice. They hate them too. But sure take advantage. I know you would like to see the President run with one hand tied behind his back. But an even playing field is what you’ll get. Be careful what you ask for, you might get it.

  11. nostradamus02012 says:

if you can’t beat them, join them.

    then beat them.

i bet that drives you just crazy.

conservatives removed barriers to campaign contributions are now whining about it?

    classic…

  12. We refuse to play by two sets of rules.

“We decided to do this because we can’t afford for the work you’re doing in your communities, and the grassroots donations you give to support it, to be destroyed by hundreds of millions of dollars in negative ads.” Jim Messina

  13. ConcernedCitizen says:

Liberals don’t hate the rich. We just think they shouldn’t be exempt from taxes. They have enough advantages without being granted unfair ones by the government. Even some of the wealtiest people, like Warren Buffett and Bill Gates, agree wholeheartedly with that view.

  14. Liberals are hypocrits to the core…they complain about something if someone else does it, but if their guy does it it’s o.k. because ultimately they believe that the ends justify the means.

  15. Don’t hate the player hate the game!

  16. Liberalism is the belief in the importance of liberty and equal rights. Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but generally liberals support ideas such as constitutionalism, liberal democracy, free and fair elections, human rights, capitalism, and freedom of religion.
True liberals would never support the ideas of super PACs. This is hardly fair elections since it gives corporate wealth extreme advantages in the political agenda.
I am no liberal but i do enjoy fulfilling the definition of words as described for the English language.
Truth be told all the candidates are cut from the same stone.
    Obama=Romney=Bush=Clinton
    Good luck.

  17. Because liberals have NO morals or sense of decency. They are sub human

  18. Libs don’t care about their money they just want your money to pay for their bad ideas while keeping their own money.

  19. Paul Grass™ says:

they only hate who they’ve been told to hate after all they worshiped the Kennedy’s, who inherited money from running booze by their dad and killed their mistresses. For the most part they lack the intellect in my opinion to know what or whom to oppose so they allow others to tell them when to be offended

  20. No matter which party is behind a super pac, I think they are venomous and wrong for this country. It is easy to use them, for a candidate, and not take blame for running the worst of the political ads. It’s wrong and I hate it. I don’t care which party is involved, it’s just creepy and bad.
We should stand tall for honesty and for not hiding behind something else to get our point across as Americans. We should ALL join the outcry against this.
I would stand shoulder to shoulder with people of all parties to put a stop to this.
