I know phase 1 is at Sheppard, but where is phase 2? I heard it is at your first duty station, what are the possible duty stations that offer radiology tech school? Thanks.
The Air Force Diagnostic Imaging program is presented in two phases.
Phase I is the 14-week Diagnostic Imaging Apprentice course at the 382nd Training Squadron, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. Phase II consists of 38 weeks of clinical education at an affiliated Phase II hospital. Completion of each phase of the Air Force program is recorded on the Radiologic Technologist Verification of Training, Sheppard AFB Form 725, which is issued to each participant in the accredited program.
Final endorsement as a graduate of the 52-week program is received upon passing the Air Force National Registry Qualification Test. The Air Force requires notarization of the ARRT application. The Sheppard AFB Form 725, properly endorsed, is submitted with the candidate’s application for Registry certification. It authorizes the ARRT to admit the individual to the examination as a graduate of an accredited program.
Your best bet is to look here.
It appears that Ultrasound is “B” on that page.
Look around, it’s takes a few minutes to understand, but it shows lenght of training and possible Assignment locations under Possible Assignment Information.
That’s the best I could do.
Good luck, and that’s a good job.

Fort Sam Houston is now the centralized location.
