How Difficult Is The Training And Education To Become A Mri Tech?

What courses do you have to take in college to get accepted into the x-ray/MRI training program? How difficult is the training? and how hard is it to find a job after you’re finished?
Thanks in advance.

I can’t quite rate the difficulty of the training to become an MRI Tech because each person is different so what to you may be easy, may be hard for me. However, the coursework involves as lot of science (particularly biology) so if that’s not your thing, then the degree might be harder than usual for you. Formal training programs in range in length from 1 to 4 years and lead to a certificate, an associate degree, or a bachelor’s degree. Visit the website for the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology to find programs that are suitable for you. I’ve listed the link below. The average starting salary is $57K. It shouldn’t be too hard to find a job once you’re done with school since the demand is still there. Good luck.
