General Information about Digital Radiology…?


Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could give me some general(and if you have the time)and specific information about the Digital Radiology. Basically what it is, how it’s done, the differences(comparing to analogue) . Thanks alotttt ;)

    As far as I know, the sensor that picks up the radiation is digital. As a result, there’s less noise and higher resolution. Also, it’s much easier to store 1000 CT scans on disc than on film (probably 10,000+ images).

    it is the use of image receptors and reeaders insted of film. cheaper..eaiser to store and manuipulate and send to other docs over pacs
