Ok so for the past like year……………I have been suffering from SEVERE virtigo and Migraines. To the point where I couldn’t go school for a while or get out of bed without the whole world toppling over. So my doctor prescribed a MRI about 6 months ago and I did it and I was FINE! The results came back and I have a screwed up arterie so we went to a neurologist and he prescribed 4 more MRIs…………..so my dad and I went on the first day and they stuck me in ALL the way and I FLIPPED OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! I started to hyper-venalate because it felt every thing was spining………………….so they pulled me back and said not to come back again unless I was sedated……….so my mom and I went back the next day I took some type of drug but it didn’t work in fact all it did was make me very dizzy. so we couldn’t go through with it. So they said they were going to put my anasethia AND I’M SO scared! Has anyone else had to do this? do you have to get an IV? when you wake up are you

I have not been able to sleep I keep on having panic attacks and yes my mom knows how frightened I am but she says an open MRI is out of the question because they do not have it for the kind of MRI I need!!!!!! and she said they tell you count backwords from 100 and by the time you get like 95 your out like a light and you wake up and think its been like two secounds and its already done! Is this true?? someone who’s had a similar experience PLEASE HELP ME so I can SLEEP!!!!!!! I mean anyone whos been knock out could help me PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and I asked this question yesterday and someone said it can feel like your having a heart attack while your being put under!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was planning to go into Nuclear Medicine but the medical director the school I planned to go to said that Nuclear Medicine might not be the best thing now. Sure pay is great but job held over the years were small. They might put nuclear medicine in the hands of say, medical assistants or sonographers to do it.

Would anyone know if Nuclear Medicine would be a good choice for plenty of jobs after i graduate in around 3 year? What do you think about radiology?
